About the background layers

Backgrounds for NotateIt are made up from a series of layers.
Layer 1 (right at the back) is the colour layer. You can
choose any colour from the palette. You'll find this option from the menu bar:

Colour
Layer 2 (in the middle of the sandwich) is your background
picture or image. If you set the transparency value on this image, the colour
from Layer 1 will show through. This is a really useful way of adding colour to
a boring black and white 'form'.
To add an image to your page background:
Page | New
Page Image
Layer 3 (at the front) is the lines and grid layer. This is a
useful overlay for helping to align objects on your page.
The lines or grid can be 'toggled' on and off as you need them:

Grid/Lines
If you're using NotateIt Professional Edition, you can create your
own grid/line options, defining spacing and colour to suit
your application. From the menu bar:
