Introduction

NotateIt incorporates a very flexible tool for creating your own gridded,
isometric or lined backgrounds.
For example, you can design your own graph paper in any colour and with any grid
spacing of your choice.
This tutorial shows you how to create a blue graph paper background that includes
thicker lines at 5-space intervals.
There are hundreds of different combinations you can select from the Grid/Line settings
panel (shown below). You may need to experiment to discover the best ones for your
applications.
All the tools for gridded and lined backgrounds can be found by clicking on Page
in the menu bar and selecting the appropriate item from the drop-down menu:
1. Showing or Hiding Grids/Lines
Lines or grids can be 'toggled' on and off as you need them.
From the menu bar, select:
Page | Show Grid/Lines
2. Changing grid or line settings
To change the grid or line settings for the current page, go to the menu bar and
select:
Page | Grid/Line settings ...
The screenshot below shows the page background default settings for
grids and lines.
If you click on the Set all to Options default button,
these are the settings that will be applied to your current page.
The result is a background of widely-spaced horizontal lines.
3. Template Workbooks
Grid and line settings can be different for each individual page of your workbook.
However, if you need all the pages in your workbook to have the same grid or line
settings, you can use the Set As Background Theme
option.
From the menu bar, select:
Page | Set As Background Theme
