Working with Images (5 of 14)

Step 2 - Insert some text |
| |
Decide which fonts you're going to use.
Make sure that if your workbook is going to be displayed on a different
computer to the one you're creating the workbook on, both computers have the
same fonts available. If they don't, just like other programs, NotateIt
will use the nearest equivalent font and your finished pages will not look
quite as you intended!
Of course, if you include fonts in your images created by your drawing program,
they won't change from computer to computer.
|
Click on the text button on the Drawing toolbar,
then click on the page where
you want the text to appear and
type in your words.
|
You can choose your font and font size from the Text toolbar:
Colour of text, font, font size etc. can all be changed later if necessary,
just by clicking on the block of text and making your amendments from the
toolbar buttons.
Here, the font chosen is Lucida Handwriting, font size 36, but you can choose
one of your own fonts if you haven't got this one:
|
You can move your block of text if it's not in the right place, by choosing the
Selection tool and clicking on the text.
|
Selection handles appear around the edge and your cursor becomes a 'hand'. Just
drag the text to wherever you want it:
