Step 4 - What's the effect so far? |
| |
Time to save your workbook.
|
From the menu click on
File | Save
or use the toolbar button.
|
The best way to view your page is in Full Screen mode.
You'll find this on the menu bar
Tools | Full Screen Mode.
To gain the largest page view, turn off the page
tabs before going into this view.
You can do this from the menu bar with
View | Page Navigation | Page Tabs
Turn the tabs back on again when you come back to the Desktop.
You can also use 'Show as Presentation' as an
alternative to 'Full Screen'.
When you go into Presentation mode, you'll see a
message that tells you that NotateIt will
hold a new copy of your file. This is OK. In
Presentation mode, you can't change anything.
You can only look and navigate through the pages.
However, you can annotate over the top and write
notes to yourself about things you might like to
add or change. If you do this, a separate copy of
your workbook will be created, containing your notes.
Your original workbook will remain intact and unchanged.
This is really handy for reminding yourself about
things that you might want to add later.
'Show as Presentation' looks like this:
With both 'Full Screen' and 'Presentation' modes,
there is no menu bar available and your page occupies
the maximum area of your screen.
At the bottom of the screen are the navigation bar
and a dynamic toolbar.
Any drawing tool, on a dynamic toolbar, can be changed to
another one when you right-click or double-click on it.
Both of these toolbars can be dragged around
the screen and dropped wherever convenient
for viewing your page as a whole.
|
To go back to the Desktop to edit your
original workbook,
click on the NotateIt icon.
|
To turn the page tabs back on again, on the menu go to
